I was
an aspiring photographer; I used to take hundreds of photographs of
everything I could, do whatever tweaking was necessary, and send them to
magazines and newspapers, not to mention news channels. Nobody said a
word, nobody printed the photos, nobody paid me a penny. I even tried to
get girls to pose nude for me, figuring I could sell them to the porno
mags. All I got was laughed at, and, once, my face slapped.
I was on the verge of starvation, when my fairy godmother appeared to me and said she would fix my problem.
The next day, in the street, I saw a woman being beaten and kidnapped by a gang of goons. She screamed and struggled and they beat her and dragged her along the ground. I was there; I had a camera, I took photos.
Did I help? Could I take photos if I'd wasted my time helping?
Anyway, that is why I am a famous photographer now.
